Please follow the below instructions to set up CPRS remote access. Contact VA IT remote access at any time if you run into issues - 855.673.4357.

  1. Navigate to the RAP Self Service Portal (needs to be accessed from a VA desktop).
  2. You will automatically be placed into registration
  3. Verify that your information, which was pulled from Active Directory, is correct. Add a secondary email and/or phone number if you wish (RAP emails will be sent to both the primary and secondary email addresses). Click Next .
  4. Enter a justification (Patient Care) for the account and click Next.
  5. Select a State and Facility from the drop-down list and click Next.
  6. Select whether the user is a Contractor or VA Employee and click Next.
  7. Select a Supervisor/COR from the drop-down (Joshua Kreider for now) and click Next.
  8. Review the Summary and make changes if necessary or click Next.
  9. Select the device type(s) you will be using to remotely access the VA network
  10. Select one or more remote access methods from the options presented. (CAG)
  11. Click Submit
  12. A popup confirms your access was successfully requested. Click OK to return to the Remote Access User Menu. You will receive an email when your request is approved (or denied).
